Upcoming EMR System Upgrade
Dear Valued Patient,
We’re excited to share an important update as part of our continued commitment to providing exceptional care and service.
We are currently in the process of upgrading our electronic medical record (EMR) system. This is an enhancement designed to better serve you and improve your overall experience with our practice.
Our new system will officially go live on February 25, 2026.
During this transition, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding. Appointment wait times may be slightly longer than usual as our team adjusts to the new platform. Additionally, all patients will be asked to update their medical history, allowing us to maintain the most accurate and up-to-date information in your chart.
Please know patient satisfaction remains our top priority, and our team will do everything possible to accommodate each patient while ensuring the highest level of care.
Klara Text Messaging Update
In coordination with our EMR upgrade, our Klara secure messaging platform will become more fully integrated with our system. As a result, we will be transitioning to a new Klara texting number.
Please be sure to save this new number 207-492-5081 in your phone, as it will be our primary and secure way to communicate with you via text moving forward.
*We will not receive any text messages sent to our old number following 2/23/2026.

Surgical procedures Dr. Holland are unable to perform in the office (requiring general anesthesia), will be performed at Northern Light Health or OA of Maine Ambulatory Surgery Center in Portland.
Dr. Holland works closely with their highly skilled teams to provide you optimal care. Detailed information about the facility and pre-registration requirements will be provided to you by our office at the time of your pre-operative appointment.
